Reservation Center Operations
Azumano Travel is currently seeking seasoned travel professionals to join our travel team. Positions will be responsible for supporting a high-volume, fast-paced business. Qualified candidates must have minimum 2 years of prior travel agent experience and will ideally have prior experience in planning and booking international travel. Candidates must be flexible and committed to supporting the team in delivering quality customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes travel arrangements for clients' air, hotel, cars, trains, and ground transportation using various online booking sources and the Apollo GDS system.
- Respond to client inquiries and concerns with a sense of urgency
- Independently review client reservations for accuracy and quality; proactively correct errors
- Conduct all business in line with standard procedures. Take 100% ownership of duties and ensure that client expectations are exceeded.
- Assures client is aware of all necessary travel documents and health requirements for countries to be visited
- Maintain ownership of each client record until departure to ensure all details (including seat assignments, meal preferences, upgrades, etc.) are completed to the client's satisfaction
- Research and provide solutions to any travel-related problem clients may experience.
- Follow and suggest improvements in company procedures in the areas of customer service, documentation of PNRs and profiles, ticketing, invoicing, accuracy of work etc
- Stays fully informed on all airline rules and regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements
- Is available for and receptive to training opportunities
- Stays abreast of technology and industry knowledge, and specifically with intranet tools provided by Azumano Travel
- Essential; Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Performs other office functions as needed and seeks ways to personally add to the overall efficiency of the operation
