About Lisa Groza:
I have been assisting clients with their travel adventures for more than 25 years. I have my Sandals, Mexico and CLIA Cruise Certification. I am also a certified PADI diver. Bare boating a 54-foot power yacht through the Virgin Islands was one of the most memorable and exciting trip I‘ve ever taken. Three couples provisioned the boat and we chartered our way from island to island for 12 days. I’ve taken this trip three times and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a completely different vacation.
I have traveled throughout the Caribbean and Mexico frequently returning to my island, Isla Mujeres, located just off the tip of Cancun. It is only 5 miles long and ½ mile wide. You arrive on the island by ferry from Cancun, touch land and time begins to slow down and your vacation begins. During the months of June through September Isla Mujeres is blessed with hundreds of whale sharks that come to the island to feed on the plankton. These gentle creatures can reach a length up to 46 feet and weigh 15 tons. Whale sharks are the largest living fish species – you thought they were sharks, huh? They are but with no teeth! What is even more remarkable was snorkeling with them as they feed at the surface of the water!
If I’m not on a beach, I’m on a ship heading for one. Tension fades as you settle into the relaxing realm that will be your floating home away from home. Dedicated staff are waiting to pamper and ensure an unforgettable vacation. I always look forward to my next cruise. Although it may seem as if I have been everywhere, I still have many adventures on my Travel Bucket List. What about you? Is it time to cross off a destination from your list?

Alaska Cruising

Early in my traveling career, an older, wiser and more well-versed lady asked me, "Who said adventure has to be uncomfortable?"I was thinking about that statement recently when I was cruising with a group of 60 Azumano guests in Alaska on our 1st Annual Spring Fling cruise. It was after midnight and I was in my stateroom nestled against down pillows in a fluffy spa robe waiting for my smoked salmon plate to be delivered by room service. Our group had just experienced the most fabulous...

So many cruise options
October 28, 2009
Can you believe all the new ships out there? It is so much fun to have so many exciting new and different ships and itineraries to choose from. I've read lots of blogs on here about specific new ships. I thought I would just write a sentence or two on a few of them highlighting just one cool on board experience. Celebrity's Equinox screams first class. Like her sister ship the Solstice, she has a 2 story wine tower. Royal...

14 Day Alaska Cruise
October 09, 2009
This summer I took a 7 day Alaska cruise on Holland America. I wrote a blog about this fabulous cruise but it was only 7 days and I would have loved to have been pampered a few more days. Well next year Holland America has a 14 day round trip inside passage cruise out of Seattle. The ms Amsterdam will sail May through September and hit all the normal inside passage ports as well as Anchorage, Homer, Kodiak and cruising Tracy Arm and...
